Job Description
This is an ideal role for someone with strong operational experience, leadership ability, and a practical understanding of mechanical systems related to fuel handling and logistics. Key Responsibilities: Operational Oversight: Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient fuel distribution and supply chain continuity. Team Supervision: Help manage and develop a team of operations staff, providing training, support, and supervision to drive performance. Inventory Management: Monitor fuel and lubricant stock levels, liaise with suppliers for timely restocking, and avoid supply disruptions. Quality Control: Enforce rigorous quality and safety standards to comply with industry and company regulations. Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency within the distribution network. Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong client relationships, promptly addressing issues and ensuring service satisfaction. Reporting and Analysis: Contribute to the preparation of operational reports, analyze key performance indicators, and support informed decision-making. Safety and Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards across operations. Crisis Management: Assist in preparing and executing contingency plans to ensure operational continuity during disruptions. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, logistics, and other departments to support shared projects and goals.
