Mid-Senior Java Full Stack Developer

My client is looking for Mid-Senior Java Full Stack Developer for an in-office role in Cape Town. Requirements: · 5 years experience developing enterprise solutions in Java, with at least 5 years in retail Point of Sale (POS) solution development, preferably Java-based · Deep technical proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and SQL · Hands-on experience with Eclipse, Spring, SVN, JUnit, Webservices, GWT, and CI tools like Jenkins and Nexus · Strong SQL skills, particularly for Oracle and/or SQL Server · Experience working in large corporations with a matrix structure and interacting with stakeholders at all levels, including executive management · Solid business acumen and strong communication skills · Familiarity with project management lifecycle concepts (PMLC) · Understanding and experience in software ergonomics or UI design · Comprehensive IT skills and a strong adherence to coding standards and conventions · Advantageous: SAP solution knowledge and SAP integration experience · Ability to manage change, prioritize effectively, and handle conflict resolution · Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills · Highly organized, with strong time management and attention to detail · Self-starter with the ability to learn internal systems (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) quickly · Excellent English (written and spoken); German language proficiency is a strong plus · Degree in Information Science, Computer Science, or similar If you would like to apply for this position, please send transcripts with applications.
