We are looking for a Java Engineer who will contribute to a project with one of our principal clients. Work Location 100% remote position for people located in Spain. Main tasks and accountabilities will be: Integration systems skills for complex IT projects where multiple technologies need to interact seamlessly. Develop APIs capable of handling thousands of requests per second reliably and efficiently. With numerous features in the pipeline, you will be continually challenged and learning as part of a collaborative, technology-driven team. Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications for banking services. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. What do we expect from you? English B2/C1. 5 years working as Java Developer Highly experienced developer with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming and systems. Strong proficiency in Java (version 8 or higher), with a solid understanding of its ecosystems. Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot and SpringBoot State Machine . Skilled in writing autonomous, service-oriented RESTful APIs . Experience with Kafka. Proficient in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices. Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). Experience with AWS services including EKS, MSK, Lambda, and ECR. Proficient in using JUnit for unit testing.
