Day to Day: - Handling desktop support related issues for PC and Mac users - Responding to and closing tickets within the ServiceNow que - Active Directory administration such as set up, adding permissions, disabling and password resets - Cross train on supporting internal staff as well as the traveling team - Supporting and troubleshooting applications that are specific to broadcast (example - prompter) - Supporting and maintaining the office apps as well as some of the communication tools ; uses such as slack, quip and zoom. (not necessary). -Testing network switches, access points, and overall Cisco operating system - Install and fix printers for offsite events - Follow the check list for pre-event and set up Physical Expectations: - Must be able to carry equipment up to 60 pounds. -Ability to crouch under TV trucks if there is a cabling issue -Will be expected to pick up monitors or physically move equipment while onsite. Pretty tight quarters, people are constantly coming and going can be loud. This person needs to be ok with the shuffle and bustle of it all. The group is tied to strict deadlines based off of the live sporting events they support. - 10 people on the team: 7 in LA, 3 in North Carolina and 2 Turner Techtronics guys doing desktop support - They generally give Friday-Sat off or Sun-Mon off depending on the events and bodies they have on the ground to support the work but candidate would need to be available to work any day of a week as this is based on the live sporting events Superbowl, Nascar, Fontana race etc. If they work weekends, they will get the required number of days off to during the week - The team need to be available 24 hours a day in case any issues come up - Generally it will be 5 days a week, - Overtime available at 1.5x Business Drivers/Customer Impact They are heading into the busy season right now and if they do not have adequate support the events will not be broadcast/streamed at the expected level which will deter viewership and cost the company money and customer satisfaction.
