Pharmacy Technician - Retail (Temp, Days) Location: Pittsfield, MA Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: Days | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Key Responsibilities: Prepare and package prescriptions under pharmacist supervision. Deliver medications to patient rooms, clinics, or residences. Maintain compliance with all pharmacy policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines. Perform non-pharmacist duties including labeling, stocking, and order entry. Ensure proper documentation and handling of medication inventory. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent . Current Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician Registration . Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential through PTCB. Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience or 6 months as a nationally certified tech. Retail pharmacy experience required. Must be able to work independently and possess a reliable vehicle. BLS Certification (AHA required). COVID-19 vaccination (dated on or after 10/3/2023) or intent to file exemption. Additional Information: Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility. Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be accepted if submitted at upload. No on-call or weekend duties.
