Delta has been retained by a confidential mechanical contractor client to conduct a search for the position of Mechanical Estimator in Freeport, Illinois. Mechanical Estimator Compensation & Benefits Total compensation for the Mechanical Estimator in Chicago, IL is between $90,000 and $110,000. Responsible for projects ranging $10M-$40M Research to provide accurate, complete and competitive pricing Collaborate with clients to define the project scope, address deficiencies, negotiate pricing and nurture relationships Provide training, direction and mentorship for less tenured members of the estimating team Actively reach out to new business development leads for bidding purposes Mechanical Estimator Qualifications Experience estimating large industrial, data center, and manufacturing projects Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience Must have Mechanical and Plumbing experience Extremely strong background in HVAC/Mechanical systems Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced work environment Must have strong computer skills and knows how to read specs and plans Software: QuoteSoft, Accubid, Must be organized, detail-oriented and efficient Able to provide a high level of customer service Must be authorized to work in the U.S. To view a full list of job openings, please visit http://www.deltaconstructionpartners.com/careerportal//jobs
