Paralegal - Commercial Real Estate (Retail, Office, Multifamily) About the Role Join a dynamic legal team as a Real Estate Paralegal in our Santa Monica Corporate Office. This hybrid position offers the perfect balance of in-office collaboration (4 days) and remote work flexibility (1 day per week). What we are looking for · Paralegal certificate from an ABA approved school · 3 years of law firm and/or in house experience as a paralegal in commercial real estate · Strong title and survey experience is required · Bachelor's degree a plus What You'll Do As a Real Estate Paralegal, you'll provide crucial support to the legal real estate team handling a variety of specialized tasks including: Conducting comprehensive lease and REA reviews to identify exclusives, use restrictions, and preparing detailed schedules for pad sales and anchor lease transactions Performing due diligence assessments on legal documents, interpreting complex clauses and providing written evaluations Drafting real estate legal documents, including REA amendments, purchase agreements, and CC&Rs Managing critical dates and deadlines for anchor projects Coordinating title information processes, resolving title issues, and maintaining legal databases Researching property ownership histories and confirming fee and leasehold ownership Supporting due diligence needs for shopping center sales and managing estoppel certificate processes Facilitating documentation for large transactions, including execution, delivery, and maintenance of closing binders Handling escrow transactions for land sales and processing various certificates and agreements Competitive Compensation - plus 15% bonus eligibility Work-Life Balance: Hybrid schedule with one remote workday per week Comprehensive Benefits: Premium health benefits with affordable contributions Time Off: Generous paid time off, including vacation, 12 paid holidays, and sick time Financial Security: 401K and Health Savings Account options Company Stock Program: Participate at a discount Community Engagement: Paid volunteer hours and employer charitable match benefit This role offers excellent growth potential for a detail-oriented paralegal looking to specialize in real estate law within a corporate environment.
