Job Description Job Description Job Title: Laboratory Technician Level 3 Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM CST) Location: Paris, IL Duration: 3 Months (with possible extension) Payrate: $23/hr. to $25.86/hr. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician Level 3 to join our quality and safety team. In this role, you will perform routine and complex analytical tests to ensure our food products meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, proven experience in a laboratory environment, and the ability to work independently on the overnight shift. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine in-process and final product testing using standard and complex laboratory instrumentation Follow proper safety procedures and ensure lab compliance with all safety and quality protocols Document and enter test results into laboratory databases; communicate findings to team members and supervisors Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of laboratory equipment Support experiments and product trials under the direction of senior lab staff Analyze data and investigate atypical results, escalating issues when necessary Maintain inventory of lab supplies; place orders and verify deliveries Assist with internal audits and support compliance with ISO 17025 standards Handle technical and clerical tasks independently with minimal supervision Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 4 years of relevant laboratory or technical work experience Working knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and ISO 17025 standards Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Willingness to work 3rd shift and onsite Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field (Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, etc.) 1 year of experience in a laboratory or food manufacturing environment
