DevOps IT Manager

What You'll Do: Own the Infrastructure : Manage servers (Windows, Linux), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Oversee storage systems (NFS, NetApp, SAN, NAS) and integrate database systems (SQL, NoSQL, Oracle) to keep everything running smoothly. Drive DevOps Excellence : Leverage your hands-on expertise in Kubernetes and DevOps environments to automate and optimize infrastructure management using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, and scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Lead with Vision : Create infrastructure roadmaps, manage medium to large-scale projects, and keep teams on track with clear timelines and accountability. You'll use Agile or Waterfall methodologies, along with tools like JIRA and Confluence, to ensure success. Solve Problems Proactively : Use your sharp analytical skills to troubleshoot infrastructure issues quickly and efficiently, anticipating challenges and implementing solutions to keep systems humming. Secure the Future : Apply cybersecurity best practices, leveraging tools like firewalls, encryption, and IDS/IPS to safeguard the infrastructure from threats. Collaborate and Communicate : Work hand-in-hand with technical and business teams, prioritizing tasks and managing stakeholders with clarity and confidence. What You Bring: Deep expertise in networking (IP addressing, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing). Proven ability to manage projects, allocate resources, and drive results under tight timelines. A proactive mindset for identifying and resolving potential issues before they arise. Strong communication skills to align with diverse teams and stakeholders. A passion for staying ahead of the curve in infrastructure and security trends.
