Job description AUDIOLOGIST/LICENSED HEARING INSTRUMENT SPECIALIST FULL TIME/PART TIME - 4 DAYor-5 WORK WEEK -Compensation -salary plus commission signing Bonus We are a successful, multi-site audiology practice seeking an Audiologist/ Licensed Instrument specialist for Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens area, NY. Opening a new office. We are seeking a professional that understands that people come to us because they can’t hear, and it is our responsibility to help them. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Establish rapport with, and review history from patients; conduct audiometric and diagnostic testing.  Prescribe and fit patients with appropriate hearing aids based on their hearing loss needs, lifestyle, desires, and affordability.  Provide appropriate follow-up care and deliver upon all service commitments to patients including but not limited to assisting customers with the maintenance of their hearing aids repair, replacement of batteries, cleanings, and adjustments.  Make ear impressions, ear molds, and order instruments and program hearing aids.  Supervise the documentation of patient files with our current EMR system.  Own assigned schedule to maximize the ability to help patients hear through opportunities.  Support and coach all team members to achieve practice goals and generation of opportunities.  EMR familiarity, Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel)  The ideal candidate will also possess:  Strong sincere interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and an outgoing personality.  The ability to always interact professionally with patients, physicians, and team members.
