If you are a Senior Fire Sprinkler Designer with 7 years of experience, please read on! Based in Texas, we're a well established, fire sprinkler and alarm contractor with a long history of success. We've got a strong business network and a leading operation in the industry. Currently, we are looking for a Fire Sprinkler Design Manager to join a well established design team. What You Will Be Doing Review construction documents and collaborate with subcontractors and GCs to gather design requirements Manage a design team Determine the design strategy & procedures for systems Design fire protection sprinkler systems & perform hydraulic calcs Leverage BIM Modeling software Create design project schedules Create stock list for materials Ensure projects comply with safety, quality, and profitability requirements Manage field installation crew to ensure maximium productivity Track labor for projects Provide material list for fabrication Communicate with team members inside and outside the organization Attend project meetings when necessary Maintain job status reports for the project management cycle What You Need For This Position High School Diploma or GED Active NICET 3 or 4 in Water Based Systems Layout 7 years of Fire Sprinkler Design experience Proven people and project managemente experience Strong CAD desig experience with HydraCAD, AutoSPRINK or SprinkCAD Experience with BIM modeling and field surveying Experience Designing Wet, Dry, Pre-action, Deluge, And Other Systems Experience designing Fire Pump systems Experience designing commercial, residential, industrial, educational, retail, municipal, healthcare sprinkler systems Knowledge of relevant NFPA Codes Strong mathematical skills Benefits Competitive Health, Dental & Vision 401(k) with Company Match Employee Stock Purchase Plan & Profit Sharing Plan FSA and HSA plans Career development program Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Parental Leave Annual Bonuses Life Insurance and more Email Your Resume In Word To Looking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
