Position Overview We are seeking a skilled General Liability Attorney to join our Jacksonville office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling a variety of general liability cases, including defense strategies and litigation. You will be responsible for representing clients in legal disputes and providing expert legal advice regarding slip and fall incidents, trucking accidents, and construction defect claims. Key Responsibilities Represent clients in general liability cases, including slip and fall, trucking, and construction defect claims Develop and implement defense strategies for litigation Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents such as briefs, motions, and pleadings Negotiate settlements with opposing parties Advise clients on legal rights and obligations Attend court hearings and trials as necessary Collaborate with other legal professionals to prepare cases for trial Qualifications Barred in FL 1 year of experience in general liability and litigation Strong knowledge of defense strategies and legal procedures Experience with slip and fall, trucking, and construction defect cases Excellent analytical and research skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team NICE TO HAVE: Trial experience, 2nd Chair Benefits Salary: $90-150k Contribute to health insurance premiums Parental & Maternal Leave Voluntary Vision & Dental Insurance Voluntary Life Insurance Short and Long Term Disability Match 401(k) 10 holidays firmwide a year plus additional 10 PTO days first year Additional 15 PTO days for 2nd year, further bumps at 5 and 15 year marks.
