General Counsel & Commercial Litigation Associate

Hybrid We’re looking for a strategic legal thinker who can manage the firm’s internal legal matters while also serving as a trial-ready litigator for high-stakes commercial cases. You’ll be the go-to attorney for both firm-level legal needs (compliance, employment issues, vendor disputes, contracts, etc.) and external client litigation in the commercial/business arena. Draft, revise, and negotiate firm agreements (e.g., vendor contracts, NDAs, employment agreements, leases, etc.). Manage and respond to legal claims or inquiries involving the firm. Oversee policies, procedures, and risk mitigation protocols across departments. Commercial Litigation Duties: Represent clients in business litigation matters, including: Partnership/shareholder disputes Breach of contract Non-compete, non-disclosure, and non-solicitation enforcement Employment defense litigation (wrongful termination, wage disputes, etc.) Business torts and unfair competition Manage caseload from intake through trial, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, hearings, and depositions. Work closely with clients to develop litigation strategy and ensure exceptional representation. Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school; member in good standing of the Florida Bar. 4 years of experience practicing law, with proven litigation experience in commercial/business disputes. Strong knowledge of Florida employment law and general corporate matters. In-house counsel or general counsel experience (or equivalent responsibility) is highly preferred. Excellent written and oral advocacy skills. Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
