Low Voltage Technician

Job Description Job Description Milow Advanced Media specializes in - Home Automation, AV Systems, Security Systems, Camera Systems, Lighting Control Systems, Networking, Conferencing Solutions, Home Theaters, and Video Walls. We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to join our team. Our AV Techs have excellent attention to detail with an eagerness to learn new equipment and systems. The candidate also will extend their knowledge to our clients and end users. This position works collaboratively with all staff members and reports to the Project Manager of Milow Advanced Media. The applicant we are searching for will have a pleasant personality, a desire to resolve issues in a satisfactory way, be excited to learn and share new technology, be organized, efficient and punctual. Our Core Values are: Customer Service, Quality Work, Forward Thinking, Integrity, and Striving for Excellence Duties: - Previous experience in residential construction or labor-intensive roles is required. - Familiarity with basic construction tools, ladders, and equipment. - Perform rough-ins based off blueprints - Installation of AV/Security equipment and Lighting Control devices - Fishing wires through finished spaces - Program Lutron/Crestron Lighting Control; organize and manage Lighting Control Projects – Once Trained - Learn, Understand, and contribute to the design and management of the Security/AV systems from beginning to completion - Dig and install outdoor systems - Maintain documentation of systems - Instruct end users for the control of the system - Experience with Crestron, Lutron, and/or URC is a plus Skills: - The desire to learn a new fun and exciting career. - Construction or trade experience - Experience in low voltage electrical systems is a plus - Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software-related issues - Above average attention to detail - Punctual & takes pride in workmanship - Excellent communication skills Company Description Milow Advanced Media was established in 2000.
