Entry-Level Laboratory Technicians

Job Description Job Description Job Title: Lab Technician Job Description: Element Staffing is recruiting for an Entry Level Lab Technician for a specialty chemical company in Concord, NC. The Lab Technician will be responsible for supporting the applications and research department through a variety of laboratory testing. Duties/Responsibilities/Qualifications: Assist and support Analytical Chemists and other laboratory personnel in nonroutine testing. Prepare samples for analysis and perform analytical testing by use of extruders, particle size analyzers, colorimeters, melt flow index, draw downs, and other established procedures. Properly document results and assist in the development and improvement of laboratory SOPs. Maintain all laboratory databases with new results for record keeping and report generation. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment per the current maintenance schedule. Interact and communicate results and activities to Lab Management, Production, Operations, and Customer Service. Actively participate and maintain compliance with company HSE program and policies. Assist with raw material stocks, inventory control, and general housekeeping. Other duties as assigned by lab manager.
