Job Description Job Description JOB SUMMARY Sells products or services to clients Provides customer service and resolves issues by offering solutions, explanations and options Full time hours GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Projects a warm, inviting and trustworthy image on the phone. Ensures full customer satisfaction and maintains a friendly, helpful demeanor. Prepares quotes and answers customer inquiries. Provides customers' information about products or services Research new product requests and writes orders. Totals price and tax on merchandise purchased by customer to determine bill. Process financing applications Accepts payment through financing application and documentation, check, credit card or cash. Serves as a liaison between clients, scheduling and warehouse departments. Tracks and prepares reports on daily, weekly and monthly leads and sales. Identifies and prioritizes problems and issues related to service area. Maintains close contact with customer to give updates on order progress Refers unresolved customer issues to designated departments for further investigation. Keeps records of customer interactions, recording details of inquiries, or comments, as well as actions taken through clear documentation. Answers customer's questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise. *The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Some sales experience desired but not necessary. We will train. SKILLS Strong verbal and written communication Excellent customer service and presentation skills Critical thinking Active listening Negotiation Persuasion Basic computer skills (i.e., Word, Excel) with general knowledge of technology and the Internet Company Description Hosner Carpet One is a retail store offering all flooring products including labor with exceptional Warranties. Our main focus is Customer Service and Satisfaction. Our hours are Monday and Thursday 9 a.m. until 7 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Employees enjoy one weekday off per week.
