Catering Butcher

Calling All Butchers - immediate starts available We are currently recruiting Butchers to work with a well established wholesale meat company based near Hedge End. Working as part of a team, the role will involve de-boning, carcass work (breaking down to primary and secondary cuts), cutting, trimming, removing excess fat and weighing cuts whilst working in a busy manufacturing environment. Keeping the work areas clean and following food hygiene standards. Successful candidates will need to have a knowledge of meat cutting techniques and a good level of experience. Efficiency, enthusiasm and attention to detail are all essential for this role as well as working to tight deadlines. Own transport preferred due to the rural location. This role is temporary to permanent and we are currently recruiting for 2 shifts: 03:00-12:00pm & 18:00-03:00am working 41.7hrs per week with overtime and a weekly attendance bonus. Pay rate dependent on experience £13.50ph-£15.40ph & Bonus. Company pension, free parking & discount on produce after a qualifying period.
