Job Description

Position: CFS Administration Assistant Location: Unit 212, Kingsnorth Ind Estate, Rochester, Kent, Me3 9NZ Line Reporting Manager: CFS Managing Director Hours: Part time, 09:00am - 13:00pm, 20hour week Salary: £12.60 ph, £13,104 Annually CFS (Composting Facilities Services Ltd) is a treatment facility which recycles sewage waste. CFS also recycles green waste generated by grounds maintenance contractors to the water industry, Network Rail and the Royal Parks. The treatment plant is fully licensed by the Environment Agency and treats more than 17,000 tonnes of waste per year. This waste would otherwise have been destined for expensive and unsustainable landfill disposal. We strive to reduce, re-use and recycle waste products wherever possible. Roles and Responsibilities Support and liaise with Operatives and Management, ensuring daily administrative tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively to company standard To learn and utilise internal systems and databases Liaise with drivers regarding ongoing work Handle daily queries that arise throughout the day and direct them to the appropriate person. Undertake general office duties: filing, ordering of stationery, passes and PPE Update HR team with daily absences, sickness documentation and return to work documentation. Deal with general telephone enquiries from customers and employees. Being flexible in your approach to work and undertake ad-hoc duties to assist with the operation of the treatment facility. Qualifications/Competency Previous experience in an office environment is essential Must have the ability to take on responsibility for your own workload Proficient using Microsoft Office systems including Word and Excel. Ability to work well under pressure Trustworthy and reliable Health & Safety: Section 7 of the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974) states the general duties of employees at work. To influence and promote a positive health, safety culture within the organisation and lead by example. To ensure all works activities are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with legislative, company policies and procedures. To carry out comprehensively and complete in full, all company required health and safety site documentation. To ensure the company health and safety documentation is read and understood.
