University of Lincoln Part time £28 per hour plus holiday pay Study skills tutor ASC Are you passionate about supporting autistic students and helping them thrive in their academic journey? Randstad Student Support is seeking a skilled and compassionate Study Skills Tutor to work with autistic students at the University of Lincoln. This part-time, hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both on-campus and online, tailoring support to meet individual student needs. Are you ready to make a real difference? Skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to identify and build on students' learning strengths Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency in creating individual learning plans Experience with various research methods and referencing styles Ability to foster independence and self-advocacy in students Experience managing a caseload of students Qualifications This specialist role requires a strong academic background and relevant training in supporting autistic adults. To meet the requirements of the Disabled Students Allowance (DSA), candidates must: Hold a minimum of an undergraduate degree (Level 6). Possess a teaching qualification. Have completed extensive training in adult autism, such as: 6 National Autistic Society Modules (non-medical helper package), or The Optimum Training Course: Autism and ADHD in Higher Education: Recognising and addressing the barriers through Non-Medical Helper (NMH) Mentoring and Study Skills Strategies.
