Job Description

Due to expansion we are looking for a Driver required to work as a Tramper Monday to Friday. Duties include delivery and collection to and from various Docks across the UK. Salary £40000.00 Overtime available. We would consider new passes with experience in driving Class 2 with good tachograph knowledge. Responsibilities Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles, ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and company policies. Transport goods to various locations, while maintaining accurate delivery records. Conduct pre-trip inspections and perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle. Adhere to ADR regulations when transporting hazardous materials. (preferable but not essential) Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and communicate effectively with dispatch and clients. Maintain a valid Category CE Licence and ensure all driving documentation is up to date. Summary As an HGV Class 1 Driver (tramper), you will be responsible for transporting goods across long distances while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and delivery schedules. Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will utilize your core skills in driving and commercial driving. Your relevant experience as a delivery driver will be crucial in navigating routes efficiently. A valid Category C and CE Licence, is essential for this role, ensuring safe and compliant operations on the road. You will have your own truck. All trucks are kept to a high spec and are all fitted with fridge and microwave.
