HGV Class 1 Tramper Job description We are looking for class 1 drivers for ongoing tramping for my client in Linwood. This will be ongoing work with long hours. HGV Class 1 Tramper Duties Operate a lorry to transport goods to various locations. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing it appropriately for transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients. HGV Class 1 Tramper Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items and securing loads. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining delivery records. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. A commitment to safety and professionalism on the road at all times.
