Vehicle Sales Executive

To actively promote and sell new or pre-owned vehicles to customers by delivering a high-quality customer experience, achieving sales targets, and maintaining long-term client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Customer Interaction: Greet and engage with walk-in customers. Assess customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles. Conduct test drives and explain vehicle features and benefits. Provide accurate product information, pricing, and financing options. Sales Execution: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Follow up on leads and prospects through calls, emails, and appointments. Negotiate pricing and close sales with professionalism and integrity. Prepare and process sales paperwork including finance applications. Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current inventory and promotions. Stay informed about competitor products and market trends. Administration: Maintain accurate customer records in CRM systems. Submit regular reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market feedback. Ensure all vehicle handovers are completed with required documentation. Customer Service & Retention: Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and post-sale. Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals. Key Requirements: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent Sales or business-related qualification (advantageous) Experience: Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in vehicle sales or a related field Experience in dealership environment (preferred) Skills: Strong sales and negotiation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Computer literacy (CRM systems, Microsoft Office, dealership software) Valid driver’s license (essential) Attributes: Target-driven and self-motivated Professional appearance and conduct High integrity and customer-focused Ability to work independently and as part of a team Working Conditions: Dealership environment with occasional travel for vehicle deliveries or client visits May require working weekends and public holidays based on showroom hours
