Essential Functions/Responsibilities Keep the relationship with customers by informing them about the supply schedules with related updates, coordinate the activity to prepare the relevant documentations for good delivery. Assure the availability of direct and indirect materials, and services to support the manufacturing and site activities, running the SAP MRP and issuing the purchase order in SAP and Coupa Source to Pay systems; expedite purchase orders and deliveries and cooperate with Internal Warehouse functions to plan and schedule materials deliveries. Assure the proper inventory management of finished products and raw materials and component, in order to assure the agreed customer service and financial target and reduce the risk of obsolescence and write-off. Following the purchase requests received from functional managers, identify potential suppliers, follow the bid process, accordingly to Corporate policies, negotiate and agree purchase conditions, terms and methods of payment. Manage the agreements with suppliers and ensure legal compliance of the contracting process. Support supplier onboarding and qualification process, in agreement with quality standard operating procedures. Manage suppliers issues, such as delays, litigations, non-conformances, product returns, etc. Collaborate and interface with the manufacturing team to convert the customer demand into production schedule. Track and report Procurement and Inventory KPI. Support month end financial close activities, such as accruals, PO’s cleansing, etc., and generally all periodical financial activities that involve procurement and inventory. Responsible of Supply Chain improvement, simplifying the process, reducing the number of suppliers and reducing the overall costs in collaboration with the Corporate purchasing function. Embrace the Continuous Improvements mindset by leveraging the Operational Excellence Culture and Tools in the day-to-day activities. Participate in the periodic review of the management, contributing to defining the environmental and safety policy. Attend education and training courses on Integrated Management System, GMP, Quality, Procedures, Instructions, Manuals and Operational Protocols. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Good knowledge of Supply Chain processes (pharma industry preferential) Good knowledge of scheduling, planning, timing respect. High predisposition to continuous improvement, problem solving and teamworking. Good negotiation and communication skills. Good knowledge of the English language. Good Knowledge of ERP (SAP preferred) and MSOffice package.
