Job Description
For our project at the University of Naples Federico II’s Apple Developer Academy, imaginary institute is looking for highly motivated and diverse talent to join the team. Candidates are required to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced, and flexible environment and collaborate within our international and trans-disciplinary team that creates and facilitates the learning experience at the University of Naples Federico II’s Apple Developer Academy and associated Apple Foundation Programs based on the Challenge Based Learning framework. The position requires general experience in mobile app development for iOS, visionOS, watchOS, iPadOS, tvOS, or MacOS, and knowledge of the Apple technology ecosystem. The candidate is expected to learn new topics, support students in their projects, and work alongside experienced Mentors to support and facilitate the students' learning experience. Responsibilities: Providing hands-on technical support for students in their development projects Supporting team members in operational tasks within the labs Mentoring individuals or groups of students Providing constructive feedback on student artifacts and deliverables Writing technical documentation on app development topics Executing daily operational tasks as required Sharing personal experience and expertise with others Working independently with clearly defined deliverables Collaborating cross-functionally with team members Knowledge of Swift and optionally other programming languages Expertise in computational thinking and advanced programming logic Experience in app development within the Apple ecosystem Expertise in developing user interfaces with SwiftUI and UIKit Knowledge of Human Interface Guidelines for Apple Platforms Experience in developing concurrent code, API integrations, etc. Knowledge of building and deploying software with Xcode and Git Experience with Challenge Based Learning or similar frameworks Professional or personal experience collaborating with diverse groups Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment as a team player Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (C1 or C2) Former experience as a student at the Apple Developer Academy is a plus Experience in editorial writing of technical content is a plus Additional Information: This is a temporary full-time position to be filled as soon as possible.
