To learn more about us click here! Description of the role Beontag is looking for a hands-on and detail-focused NPI Specialist to join our team at the Bologna plant. This role is key to supporting the successful launch of new products into production. You'll help ensure that everything is in place for a smooth handover from development to manufacturing. At our Bologna site, we develop and produce award-winning RFID solutions that are used worldwide. These are the kinds of products that are shaping how companies operate, track, and optimize their business. As an NPI Specialist, you’ll play a direct role in bringing those solutions from concept to reality. A typical day in this role involves reviewing technical documentation, preparing and validating data, and handling paperwork linked to product readiness. You’ll spend time talking with the production team on the shop floor, making sure they have what they need, and coordinating with the quality team on test results, process improvements, and product standards. You’ll follow the full ramp-up process of new products, watching them go from pilot runs to full-scale manufacturing. What You Will Do Work with the NPI Manager and other teams to support the introduction of new products into production Be the contact point for production teams when it comes to technical and testing matters Review and organize validation data and documents for new products Read and manage technical documentation, making sure it’s clear, accurate, and up to date Collaborate with Quality and Production to define testing rules and acceptance conditions Update production specifications, ERP items, and work instructions based on NPI trial outcomes Support the release of raw materials and products after successful testing Help manage technology transfer from other Beontag sites to our Bologna plant Communicate regularly with the quality team about test methods, results, and improvements Suggest process improvements and share good practices across teams Support the Quality team during complex non-conformities Act as the temporary backup for the NPI Manager What We Are Looking For Experience in a similar role, especially with product validation, test planning, and production release Comfortable reading and working with technical documents Good skills with Microsoft Office tools Fluent in English & Italian , both written and spoken Familiar with ERP Sofware (e.g. MS Dynamics NAV, Oracle, etc.) Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with different teams A practical, problem-solving approach and attention to detail Nice-to-Have Experience in the label or printing or RFID industry Location: This role is based at our plant in Bologna, Castel Maggiore.
