It is starting an important growth plan and is looking for ambitious and motivated resources. Role Description Grivel is seeking a passionate and hands-on Marketing Director to join the CEO and team to lead and execute on the brand management and marketing strategy and execution. The successful candidate will be an individual who embodies and upholds our values, is entrepreneurial, resourceful, energetic, and a rigorous and disciplined business leader. (S)he will build and lead a highly capable team and will report directly to the CEO. Responsibilities Identify and implement overall marketing, communication, and digital strategy in alignment with Grivel’s business and growth objectives. Develop and drive the marketing strategy of Grivel, with a balanced focus on attracting valuable new customers and creating enduring relationships with existing customers. Plan and develop seasonal marketing initiatives that help to raise brand awareness and drive business goals, through integration of channels and regions. Manage seasonal campaigns from briefing to execution, partnering with external agencies or internal content team to deliver creative excellence on time. Lead in the development of the integrated communication plan, including coordinating activities between multiple consumer touchpoints across owned, paid and earned media. Lead yearly operational calendar and seasonal marketing timelines, ensuring alignment with cross functional and regional partners. Create processes to ensure on-time, high quality delivery of marketing initiatives. Partner with functional stakeholders in the implementation of the processes. Leverage and integrate consumer insights to deliver effective consumer led campaigns and experiences. Share insights with other departments to nurture consumer-centric culture. Manage marketing budget and control bottom-up spending against key strategic choices. Define measurements of digital marketing effectiveness, implement tracking and reporting on measurements; communicate performance regularly. Work to consistently improve ROI through the refinement of customer insights to improve segmentation, targeting, and messaging to drive more personalized content to customers; share insights and tools with appropriate teams. Work closely with the CEO to develop and implement marketing campaigns across online and offline channels including events. Manage all social media channels including creation and scheduling of content. Skills & Qualifications Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Italian (proficiency in French is advantageous); ability to interact and present effectively with all levels of management. Ability to work in global and multicultural environments. Understanding of brand equity and premium positioning. Successful track record leading innovative marketing and digital marketing campaigns that proved successful, preferably in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments, and a strong consumer brand; preferably 7 years of experience of which 3 in leadership roles. Previous P&L ownership with ability to develop and manage a budget. Punctual, driven, and self-motivated. Other Place: The ideal candidate would be based either in Milan or the Aosta Valley.
