Inventory and Material Manager-genova

Position: Inventory and Material Manager Our innovative Foodtech company in Genoa is seeking an Inventory and Material Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the successful candidate will manage a team initially composed of 3 resources and will be responsible for: Creation and maintenance of Master Data and Bill of Materials (BoM) within the company’s ERP system (MS Dynamics NAVISION). Managing processes such as Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP). Overseeing supply chain activities in coordination with the Purchasing Department and Logistics function. Improving product availability in stock, controlling stock rotation indices, and monitoring excess and obsolete stock levels. Planning and controlling the activities of the Central Warehouse (outsourced). Monitoring and verifying inventory adjustments. Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Master's degree in management or economics. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. English language proficiency at C1 level or higher. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAVISION ERP system is a plus. Experience or familiarity with the Food & Beverage industry is appreciated. Strong analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills.
