Global Demand and Supply Planner

Social network you want to login/join with: Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for driving the demand and supply planning process to ensure high customer service levels while optimizing supply costs. As a Demand & Supply Planner, your main responsibility is to manage and develop a balanced demand and supply plan, ensuring appropriate delivery to customers considering supply chain processes, plans, inventory management, and leading the Monthly Sales and Operations Planning Review (S&OP) for each market in coordination with the Key Account Manager (KAM). You will have the opportunity to drive, change, shape, influence, and implement processes that positively affect demand and supply management. The ideal candidate must be proactive, capable of working independently, and a team player, to drive improvements in daily supply chain activities. Main responsibilities and duties Demand Planning: Develop and maintain demand forecasts (12 rolling months) at the product level for assigned markets. Consolidate global demand plans, analyze market trends and demand patterns, and identify improvement opportunities to enhance forecasting accuracy. Coordinate new product launches and phase-outs with KAMs and markets. Supply Planning: Create monthly supply plans, calculate and plan dispatches for assigned markets to ensure on-time product availability and meet customer service levels. Proactively communicate supply status and potential risks, leading issue resolution to ensure supply continuity. Maintain planning parameters and master data in the ERP system, managing supply variabilities. Inventory Management: Manage safety stock targets, monitor inventory levels (volume, value, aging stock), and lead supply network optimization with stakeholders. Calculate and maintain in ERP inventory parameters such as safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead-time, and replenishment strategies. Other Planning Activities: Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) review process with relevant markets and internal stakeholders. Participate in supply chain redesign projects to optimize end-to-end product and information flow. Continuously seek improvement opportunities (processes & tools) to enhance key supply chain metrics and streamline workflows with an end-to-end mindset. Prepare and analyze reports & dashboards to support management decisions. Support ERP implementation. Key Competencies / Qualifications / Skills University Degree or equivalent with 5-10 years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, procurement, or project management in demand & supply planning. Experience working in an international environment is mandatory. Desirable: experience with ERP implementations in the supply chain domain. Knowledge of international distribution planning processes and tools. Understanding manufacturing processes, constraints, route to market, customer networks, and business environments. Stock policies strategy and calculations. Knowledge of product portfolio characteristics (demand type, seasonality, lifecycle, shelf life). Experience with Product Lifecycle Processes: Master Data Management, New Product Launches, and Gate Process. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential. Fluency in another European language (French or German) is a plus. Ability to work independently. Strong analytical, structured, and problem-solving skills. Hands-on approach and attention to detail.
