*Accounts Receivable Clerk About the Company * Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment where every day brings new challenges * Join a highly organized team with streamlined processes and clear communication * Enjoy hands-on training and continuous learning opportunities to grow your skills * Be part of a collaborative and supportive culture that values efficiency and innovation * Experience room for rapid professional growth with clearly defined career paths * Work in an environment that rewards initiative and performance Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist * Daily cash application of lockbox and electronic payments by batching and balancing in accounting system * Generate, review, and distribute accurate invoices to customers * Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collection of payments * Apply incoming payments to appropriate customer accounts and invoices * Conduct regular account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies * Communicate with clients regarding overdue accounts and billing issues * Prepare and analyze aging reports and escalate collection issues when necessary * Maintain detailed and organized records of all AR transactions * Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, customer service, finance) to resolve billing concerns * Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting * Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Preferred Qualifications of the Accounts Receivable Clerk * Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting * Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Excellent communication and customer service abilities * Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment The Accounts Receivable Clerk role is fully onsite in North Canton, OH with a salary range of $45,000 - $50,000 depending on experience.
