Family Nurse Practitioner Compensation * The pay for this position is $74.87 per hour * Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment * A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Family Nurse Practitioner Highlights * This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs * The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–7:30 PM, every other Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM Family Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities * Deliver patient care in a retail clinic environment for individuals 18 months and older * Independently perform holistic, evidence-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition planning * Educate patients on health maintenance to support quality outcomes * Evaluate and treat patient needs while co-managing care with other healthcare professionals * Document all care in an electronic health record * Respond to patient care inquiries throughout the day * Promote high levels of patient engagement and satisfaction * Resolve conflict and manage both clinical and non-clinical tasks * Support development of patient-centered practice teams and help train/hire new staff * Adapt to new models of care to improve clinic efficiency * Validate insurance coverage and incorporate into patient care plans * Uphold the core values of the clinic in all communications and interactions Family Nurse Practitioner Requirements * 1 year of professional experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner * Must be willing to float to nearby clinic locations * Completion of a Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program * Current National Board Certification * Active license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role in the state of Georgia * High School Diploma or GED * Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days Family Nurse Practitioner Preferred Qualifications * Previous experience in a retail clinic or urgent care setting * Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills * Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems If you think this Nurse Practitioner position is a good fit for you, please apply to this posting! * Provide primary care to patients * Serve as a nurse practitioner in skilled nursing centers * Make independent health care decisions regarding patient care * Provide care and treatment for psychiatric patients * Providing patient-focused health care * Provide well child care, acute care * Providing care for patients in acute and critical care settings * Produce care plan for patients * Provide wound care to patients * Provide primary health care, including preventive care services, for patients * Provide primary care and patient education * Ensure care coordination and patient centered care * Provide comprehensive primary health care to a population of patients * Advise patients about continuing care * Act as an independent practitioner * Treat and care for patients * Providing episodic care of patients * Provide work related health care services to patients * Manage patients for wound care services * Perform routine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to established protocols and current standards for acute care nurse practitioner practice
