PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement and enhance accounting policies and financial procedures. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP . Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership. Partner with operations and supply chain teams to drive financial efficiency. Lead cost accounting processes to ensure precise product costing and margin analysis. Monitor inventory valuation and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels . Collaborate with plant managers to enhance cost efficiency and reduce waste. Simplify and standardize the Chart of Accounts to improve financial reporting. Identify and execute process improvements that enhance financial operations. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax laws and regulatory requirements. Oversee external audits , working with partners to strengthen controls. Continuously assess and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business goals. Act as a hands-on leader , balancing strategy with execution. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred). Experience: 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3 years in leadership within manufacturing or retail . Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and multi-site financial operations . Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills . Leadership: Strong ability to lead teams and drive process improvements . Problem-Solving Mindset: Analytical thinker with a track record of data-driven decision-making .
