Job Description

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Works directly with the Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager to develop and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans for mechanical systems and equipment. Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency. Generate and manage work orders, plan and utilize detailed schedules for plan downtime while ensuring timely completion and adherence to maintenance schedules. Assess and allocate the number of outage hours needed for specific projects. Monitor and document maintenance tasks, maintaining accurate records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Perform root cause analysis for mechanical failures and implement corrective actions. Recommend improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability. Work closely with operations, engineering, and procurement teams to align maintenance strategies with business objectives. Liaise with vendors and contractors for specialized repair and service needs. Provide mechanical engineering expertise to troubleshoot equipment issues and optimize maintenance procedures. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all maintenance activities. Assist in managing the maintenance budget by optimizing resources and minimizing unnecessary costs. Work with Supply Chain and monitor spare parts inventory, ensuring critical components are available when needed Required Skills & Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A combination of experience and education may be Degree and major if applicable considered. Proven experience as a Maintenance Planner or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or chemical environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and maintenance best practices. Proficiency in CMMS software and maintenance planning tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance standards
