Job Summary: Directs and supervises various levels of ancillary personnel, including staffing and caseload control. Serves as administrative support for managers. Applies substantial knowledge and experience to perform a wide range of advanced activities and/or determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals; serves as working supervisor for team or work group. Coordinates small program(s) with limited budget/impact. Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience: High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred Five years' technical experience: Preferred Experience as Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist or Speech-Language Therapist: Preferred Leadership experience: Preferred Licenses/Certifications: National Occupational Therapist (NOT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) or Physical Therapist (PT):: Required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required NOT or Occupational Therapist (OT) or American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) or Physical Therapist (PT) or Speech-Language Pathology (SLP): Required Essential Functions: Serves as both a clinical and professional role model/resource for department personnel, assisting in plan formulation, methodology creation, professional growth strategy development, personal enhancement and delivery of patient care. Acts as a liaison to physicians and other hospital personnel in matters concerning area operations. Supervises department personnel. Assesses personnel strengths, capabilities and limitations. Analyzes scope of responsibilities and skills. Ensures accuracy of personnel performance and completion of assigned tasks. Identifies employee growth and development opportunities. Provides immediate corrective action and feedback, as needed. Provides patient evaluation, treatment and care. Completes patient evaluations, implementing advanced clinical tests as needed. Incorporates treatments and approaches based on prescribed treatment plans. Documents and assesses patient status and management. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
