The successful candidate will perform plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair tasks across all district buildings, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of water, sewer, and drainage systems in support of a clean and safe learning environment. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including water supply lines, waste disposal systems, fixtures, and appliances across all district facilities. Inspect building plumbing systems and diagnose problems using appropriate tools and techniques. Respond to emergency service calls, including leaks, clogs, and system failures. Maintain boilers, water heaters, backflow prevention devices, and other plumbing-related equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and codes to ensure plumbing work complies with local and state regulations. Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors as needed on larger renovation or construction projects. Maintain inventory of plumbing supplies and ensure tools and equipment are in good working order. Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and completed tasks. Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and secure during and after each job.
