Floor Technician

SBM Management is searching for a Floor Technician that can make the floors sparkle and shine! We are hiring a Floor Technician that has experience ensuring customers have clean and orderly commercial or office space. Professional communication with the customers to make sure their expectations are met is essential. Responsibilities * Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures. Stop at risk behaviors in others and self * Work with other employees in a team to complete assignments * Perform repetitive tasks * Maintain clean work area * Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules * Take direction and respond to supervision * Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner * Fill in during staff shortages, such as in custodial, recycle, or maintenance * Support shift lead in completing punch-list items * Use proper personal protective equipment that is required for assigned tasks * Present a professional appearance and conduct * Understand customer service and satisfaction. * Understand reporting systems, and of the environment * Operate motorized cleaning equipment * Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area * Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors: tile, carpet, and brick flooring * Complete work assignments in a timely manner * Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure * Use and maintain equipment properly * Operate and maintain all equipment correctly and safely * Always observe safety precautions, using safety signs "wet floor" * Ability to work without normal supervision * Report safety hazards as appropriate Qualifications * Experience in the janitorial industry required, with floor/carpet care expertise preferred * Must pass SBM Background checks, along with Pre employment Drug screening & E-Verify. * Floor Care experience and using machinery Drivers License Required, * General Knowledge of Care Floor and Scrubbing Techniques Shift: Sunday-Wednesday 7:30am - 6:00pm Compensation: $15.50-$16.00 per hour SBM Management Services, LP and its affiliates are proud to be equal opportunity workplaces.
