HGV Class 1 Driver

Job description We are currently looking for a number of Class 1 Drivers for our client based in Preston. Duties Operate and drive a Refrigerated lorry to deliver goods to designated locations. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing it properly for transport. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and vehicle maintenance reports. Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients. Candidates must have a valid Class 1 License, CPC and Taco. 02:00-03:00 am start times.
