Regional Purchasing Manager

PUEBLA, MEXICO Regional Purchasing Manager Your tasks. • Develop and implement sourcing strategies. • Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers. • Build and maintain supplier relationships. • Lead cost analysis and price negotiations. • Manage supplier contracts and terms. • Drive cost reduction and value engineering initiatives. • Oversee purchase order processing and delivery tracking. • Ensure timely material availability for production. • Coordinate with logistics and inventory teams. • Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and production departments. • Support new product development and change management. • Monitor supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery). • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks. • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., IATF 16949). • Promote ethical sourcing and sustainability practices. Your Profile • Engineering, Administration or Economy Bachelor or Master Degree. • Over 5 years leading Purchasing departments in the automotive industry, managing direct and indirect purchases, preferably in plastics sector. • International negotiation skills. • Good communicator • Team player and ability to work in dynamic environments • Purchasing knowledge • Strategic thinking • Good negotiation skills at all level, both technically and commercially • Good understanding of technical aspects • Fluent in english What we offer. • A pleasant working atmosphere, with good career opportunities. • Build knowledge with exciting and varied assignments.
