English Language Teacher

My English School is looking for an English teacher, based in Bologna. Our classes are group classes for adults, with a mixture of grammar-based and speaking-based lessons. Our lessons last one hour and with groups of students that can change due to our booking system. We are looking for strong communicative language teachers who are able to build rapport with students and facilitate conversation. High availability in the evenings from 18:00-21:00 CET/CEST and on Saturday mornings from 9:00-13:00 CET/CEST is a requirement for this role . Teachers with My English School tend to teach 4 evenings and one Saturday morning on rotation every two weeks, as well as other hours during the week if requested. Our teachers usually teach between 15-25 hours. For successful candidates, we provide full initial training and ongoing professional development, with observations, feedback and training sessions. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND EMPLOYMENT STATUS CELTA/TEFL/TESOL certificate or equivalent. A degree or evidence of further study is preferred. Our teachers should have at least one year of experience, including online teaching.
