With a strong focus on innovation, operational excellence, an We are expanding our Purchasing Team in Italy and are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join our 3-person team managing component procurement. This is a key role that sits at the intersection of purchasing and logistics — ideal for a proactive and experienced professional who thrives in fast-paced environments. What You'll Be Doing: As a Purchasing Specialist , your main responsibilities will include: Procuring mechanical and electronic components according to production needs and forecasts. Sending and managing purchase orders while maintaining accurate records. Following up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and mitigate any supply chain risks. Negotiating pricing, delivery terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best value. Collaborating cross-functionally with planning, logistics, and production to ensure material availability. Supporting inventory optimization by aligning purchasing with operational demand. Identifying and resolving delivery issues before they impact production. Utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) to manage purchasing workflows (experience is a plus). What We're Looking For: We’re seeking someone who is experienced, adaptable, and hands-on — someone who can quickly understand new systems and processes while delivering high-quality results. You will be part of a close-knit team with high standards and a collaborative spirit. Requirements: Proven experience (3 years) in purchasing, procurement , or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments. Strong negotiation skills and a solution-oriented mindset. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and adapt to change quickly. Fluent in Italian and English – both written and spoken. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; D365 experience is a strong plus . Nice to Have: Knowledge of logistics processes or previous involvement in cross-functional supply chain teams.
