Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Description: Supply Chain Coordinator The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the production planning process to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products. Based on needs derived from forecasts provided by Central Deland Planning, in collaboration with other Supply Chain functions and the Purchasing Department, the coordinator ensures that the production planning process runs smoothly and efficiently. The role involves inventory management based on corporate targets, strategizing, and optimizing supply chain production performance and material flow. Main Tasks Develop and deploy production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity. Adjust production plans as necessary to accommodate changes in demand, supply chain disruptions, or production issues. Collaborate with Operations to support organizational goals and resolve capacity or resource constraints. Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance metrics. Monitor customer demand, forecasts, and requirements to ensure accurate production planning and inventory management. Use data to inform decisions and recommend process improvements; develop and monitor KPIs and consolidate company performance reports. Coordinate with production functions to maintain the Master Production Schedule and ensure on-time delivery. Develop and implement inventory strategies to ensure material availability while minimizing inventory impact. Facilitate regular meetings to review production schedules, address issues, and update stakeholders. Align with operational goals, balancing efficiency, inventory, and service levels. Determine and implement safety stock levels to ensure supply continuity, working closely with Finance for inventory control and financial reporting. Provide daily leadership and operational direction to supply chain personnel.
