Job Description
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for driving the demand and supply planning process to ensure high customer service levels while optimizing supply costs. As a Demand & Supply Planner, your main responsibility is to manage and develop a balanced demand and supply plan, ensuring appropriate delivery to customers by considering supply chain processes, plans, and inventory management. You will lead the Monthly Sales and Operations Planning Review (S&OP) for each market in coordination with the Key Account Manager (KAM). You will have the opportunity to drive, change, shape, influence, and implement processes that will positively affect demand and supply management. The ideal candidate must have the initiative to work independently and as a team player to drive change and improve day-to-day supply chain activities. Main responsibilities and duties Demand Planning: Develop and maintain demand forecasts (12 rolling months) at the product level for assigned markets. Consolidate global demand plans, analyze market trends and demand patterns, and identify improvement opportunities to enhance forecasting accuracy. Coordinate new product launches and product phase-outs with KAMs and markets. Supply Planning: Create monthly supply plans, calculate and plan dispatch plans for assigned markets to ensure on-time product availability and meet customer requirements and service levels. Proactively communicate supply status and potential risks, leading issue resolution to ensure supply continuity. Maintain planning parameters and master data in ERP system, managing supply variabilities. Inventory Management: Manage safety stock targets, monitor inventory levels (volume, value, aging stock), and lead supply network optimization with stakeholders. Calculate and maintain inventory parameters in ERP: safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead-time, and replenishment strategies. Other Planning Activities: Drive the S&OP review process with related markets and internal stakeholders. Participate in supply chain redesign projects to optimize end-to-end product and information flow. Identify improvement opportunities (processes & tools) to enhance key metrics and streamline work processes with an end-to-end mindset. Prepare and analyze reports & dashboards to support management decisions. Support ERP implementation. Key Competencies / Qualifications / Skills University Degree or equivalent with 5-10 years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, procurement, or project management in demand & supply planning. Experience working in an international environment is mandatory. Experience with ERP implementations in the supply chain domain is desirable. Knowledge of international distribution planning processes and tools. Understanding manufacturing processes, constraints, route to market, customer network, and business environment. Knowledge of stock policies, strategies, and calculations. Familiarity with product portfolio characteristics like demand type, seasonality, lifecycle, and shelf life. Experience with Product Lifecycle Management, including master data management and new product launch processes. High proficiency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of another European language (French or German) is a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong analytical, structured, and problem-solving skills. Hands-on attitude with attention to detail. Proficiency with new tools and Microsoft Excel. J-18808-Ljbffr
