We are Europe's largest vehicle remarketing business, the backbone of the automotive supply chain. We are seeking a Buyer Demand Manager to work across various business divisions within our European operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in Remarketing Automotive, be digitally savvy, and passionate about getting it right the first time. Role Accountabilities: Guide the demand management process across involved markets to optimize auction sales by aligning buyer demand with available supply. Establish clear criteria for evaluating and prioritizing auction requests to ensure strategic alignment with sales objectives. Maintain visibility into market demand, inventory levels, and auction capacity to maximize efficiency and buyer satisfaction. Implement governance structures to enhance transparency in auction performance and align demand with supply capabilities. Monitor auction program performance, ensuring optimal execution, budget adherence, and alignment with revenue targets. Standardize reporting on buyer trends, supply availability, and auction results to support decision-making. Oversee auction technology initiatives to improve buyer experience and transaction success rates. Support local teams managing supply-side integrations, ensuring compliance with governance standards and alignment with demand-side needs. Act as a strategic liaison between supply teams, buyers, IT, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication and alignment with sales goals. Engage with key stakeholders to improve market visibility, supply-demand matching, and auction outcomes. Strategic Thinking: Analyze market trends, buyer behavior, and auction dynamics to develop demand-driven strategies. Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytical skills to interpret buyer trends, forecast demand, and optimize auction performance. Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with buyers, internal teams, and external partners. Process Optimization: Develop structured demand management processes for efficiency and scalability. Project & Program Management: Lead large-scale initiatives, ensuring timely and strategic execution. Technology Acumen: Understand auction platforms, pricing algorithms, and engagement tools to foster innovation. Negotiation & Influencing Skills: Align supply with demand through negotiation and relationship management. Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to auction governance, reporting standards, and regulations. Experience Required: Industry Knowledge: Experience in auction sales, e-commerce, or supply chain management is preferred. Relevant Experience: In demand management, sales operations, or strategic planning within a commercial setting. Proven Track Record: Success in demand strategies, buyer engagement, and sales optimization. Cross-Functional Experience: Working with IT, sales, and supply chain teams to align strategies and technology.
