You will support general accounting operations, month-end closings, and statutory compliance, focusing on VAT, taxes, and local reporting requirements. The role also involves collaboration with our Shared Service Center and support in audits and travel expense management. Key Responsibilities Manage general accounting activities and perform B/S reconciliations. Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities following Group procedures, including accruals and payroll accounting entries. Assist in preparing the Annual Financial Statement in compliance with local regulations, including corporate income tax calculations and adjusting entries. Ensure compliance with Italian VAT/TAXES and other requirements, including: Knowledge of VAT law and regulations — monthly VAT calculation, filling tax payment form F24. Withholding taxes. Maintenance of VAT Register, Journal Entry Register, Inventory, and Fixed Asset register. Review of VAT returns, Mod.770. Support shared services: act as a key contact for our shared service center for: General ledger-specific accounting needs. Accounts payable expertise to enhance accounting and control. Vendor and e-invoicing reconciliation/archiving. Support external and internal audits. Manage employees' travel expenses. Handle submissions to SDI (Authority Exchange System) for cross-border transactions. Perform accounting activities related to imports. Essential Skills & Experience Solid knowledge of accounting principles (Italian GAAP and IFRS). Good knowledge of SAP ERP system. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills. Proactive mindset and analytical approach to solve financial challenges efficiently. Fluent in English. Up to 5 years’ experience working in a structured multinational company.
