We are looking for an IT Technical Project Manager responsible for overseeing the software lifecycle of the Engine, Energy systems in the maritime area within our Carnival Global Maritime Information Systems (GMIS). This role combines project management and technical expertise, ensuring best practices, collaboration across departments, and delivery of innovative solutions. How you'll live your ambition: Based in Genoa, as the IT Technical Project Manager - Engine, Energy & Efficiency Systems , you will oversee the software lifecycle for critical Engine, Energy, and Environmental systems across the Costa fleet. Your mission is to drive innovation and efficiency, ensuring technology solutions align with business needs and support maritime operations and sustainability goals. Demonstrate your passion: Work closely with the Marine Technology and Performance Engineering team, translating their needs into actionable solutions. Drive process optimization and system improvements in every project. Adopt sustainable technology practices, ensuring compliance and pushing boundaries. Promote sustainability in technology solutions and adhere to HESS safety principles. Get things right: Manage projects by coordinating technical teams, business analysts, and external vendors to meet strategic priorities. Ensure seamless data collection and reliable processes, empowering Maritime Systems and the Data Warehouse. Handle risk management, timelines, and budgets to keep projects on course. Foster communication and collaboration, promoting best practices across Carnival Corporation. What makes you unique: Solid academic background in STEM or IT (Bachelor's Degree; Master's preferred) and 5 years of experience. Certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2. Familiarity with GitHub, Azure DevOps, and cloud concepts. Ability to manage priorities in fast-paced environments and inspire collaboration. Fluent in English and Italian, with strong stakeholder engagement skills. Foundational knowledge in programming languages and networking.
