About the role We are seeking a mid-level Academic Data & Student Records Officer to join our Academic Retention team in Barcelona. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and efficient enrolment of students across the academic year.The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, managing, and analyzing student data related to the full student journey—from enrolment to graduation—and supporting retention initiatives through data insights and operational coordination. Key responsibilities · Act as a point of contact with the Accounting department to support payment and enrolment control processes. · Collaborate with the Admissions team to verify correct student enrolments across all modalities (on campus, digital, virtual), and to track late arrivals, postponements, and study plans. · Coordinate with the Academic Department and counsellors to verify student attendance and access to the Learning Management System (LMS). · Support the IT team in generating student credentials and ensuring smooth onboarding. · Analyze student data to identify trends and contribute to the implementation of student retention plans. · Maintain and regularly update student lists and records. · Assist in the development and monitoring of academic retention strategies. · Help calculate enrolment forecasts for upcoming terms. About you · Strong organizational and analytical skills. · Previous experience working with databases and generating reports. · High level of computer literacy, with the ability to extract data from different systems and create insightful reports. · Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI. · Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to deliver high-quality work under deadlines in a dynamic environment. · Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. · Team player who thrives in a multicultural environment. · A proactive attitude toward continuous learning and professional development.
