Temp Technical Data Analyst (PLVA)

To ensure accurate and timely Bills of Materials (BOMs) for series and pre-series parts, supporting vehicle/component production for local and export customers. The role includes managing engineering changes, resolving BOM discrepancies, and optimizing part number variance. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate engineering changes and update BOMs accordingly Convert Engineering BOMs (E/BOM) into Production BOMs (P/BOM) Determine timing of changes based on production and supply constraints Manage new component requests to ensure uninterrupted supply Implement temporary BOM corrections to prevent production stoppages Ensure permanent corrections are documented Provide accurate BOMs to suppliers (JIT, JIS, kit) throughout production Investigate and resolve BOM-related data queries Qualifications Required: National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or in Production Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, or Data Science Experience: Minimum 3 years in a logistics role within the automotive industry Essential Skills: Familiarity with Group Technical Data and Engineering Change Processes Knowledge of the PEP process and RPA (Robotic Process Automation) Project management experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, SAP Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
