Job Title: Plant Operations Lead Location: Monterrey Experience Required: 7–10 Years Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish Industry: Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering ⸻ Job Summary: We are seeking a Plant Operations Lead with 7–10 years of experience in manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in Mechanical Engineering, strong leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience with 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies. This role requires fluency in both English and Spanish and a proven ability to lead plant efficiency initiatives while integrating ERP systems and custom applications into manufacturing processes. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Lead day-to-day plant operations to ensure optimal production efficiency, safety, and quality. • Implement and oversee 5S and Kaizen initiatives to drive continuous improvement. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ERP and custom applications into manufacturing workflows. • Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to reduce waste and improve productivity. • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions when needed. • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. • Train and mentor staff on process improvements, systems integration, and operational excellence. • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues. ⸻ Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. • 7–10 years of experience in plant operations or manufacturing leadership roles. • Demonstrated expertise in 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or similar methodologies. • Experience with ERP systems and integration of custom applications in a production environment. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-cultural, and results-driven environment. ⸻ Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in managing mid-to-large scale production facilities. • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. • Familiarity with digital manufacturing tools and Industry 4.0 technologies.
