IDMC Developer

Position : IDMC Developer Job Description : As an IDMC Developer at Stalwart Innovations, you will be a core member of our data engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data integration and management solutions primarily using the Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform. You will work closely with data architects, data analysts, and other developers to build scalable and efficient data pipelines, ensuring reliable data flow and data quality across various cloud and on-premise systems. Key Responsibilities : - IDMC Development : Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using various services within the Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform, including but not limited to : 1.Cloud Data Integration (CDI) : Building mappings, transformations, and data flows. 2. Cloud Data Quality (CDQ) : Implementing data profiling, cleansing, and standardization rules. 3. Cloud Mass Ingestion : Setting up pipelines for large-scale data ingestion. 4. Cloud Application Integration (CAI) : For API and application-level integration (if applicable). - Data Pipeline Construction : Build robust and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to move and transform data between cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery), cloud storage (e.g., S3), on-premise databases, and SaaS applications. - Data Quality & Governance : Implement data quality rules, validation checks, and data governance policies within IDMC. - Connectivity : Configure and manage various connectors within IDMC to integrate with diverse data sources and targets (databases, cloud applications, APIs). - Performance Optimization : Optimize IDMC mappings and tasks for performance and scalability, ensuring efficient data processing. - Troubleshooting : Identify, debug, and resolve complex data integration and data quality issues. - Collaboration : Work closely with data architects, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data solutions. - Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation for IDMC designs, mappings, and operational procedures. Mandatory Skills : - Strong hands-on expertise with Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC), specifically with Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Data Quality (CDQ). - In-depth understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing concepts, and data integration patterns. - Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and validation. - Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and its core data services. - Familiarity with various data formats (e.g., CSV, Parquet, JSON, XML). - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex data integration challenges. - Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders. Nice to Have : - Experience with other IDMC services (e.g., Cloud Master Data Management (MDM), Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC)). - Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for data automation. - Exposure to real-time data integration or streaming platforms. - Experience with DevOps practices for data pipelines (CI/CD for IDMC assets). - Certifications in Informatica IDMC or relevant cloud data services.
