We are looking for a DevOps/SRE Engineer to be part of our team working with a highly digitalized top bank customer in US&UK Market Main tasks and accountabilities will be: Work as part of a cross-functional group of engineers in applying Site Reliability Engineering principles to in-house developed front-end applications. Have a clear oversight on how managed systems relate to each other, with autonomy to continuously iterate improvements to achieve highly available, fault tolerant applications. Improve reliability, monitoring and observability of services deployed within AWS in a complex, distributed technology environment. Identifying opportunities to reduce operational overheads through observability and service automation. Define, implement and meet with well-defined service level objectives. Participate in system design, platform management and service reviews. Willingness to be part of a 24/7 on-call rota (paid additionally) What UST expects from you? 5 years of experience as Devops, Cloud Engineer, or similar position in Cloud. Experience in Cloud architecture and adoption patterns. (AWS is most relevant but experiences in Azure, GCP or other cloud providers are useful as well) Excellent understanding of infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipeline management via Jenkins. Strong experience with containers and orchestrators such as Docker and Kubernetes. Good knowledge of distributed systems at backend with a proven track record in Performance, Scalability, and Resiliency. Experience with monitoring, ing and notifications (NewRelic, Grafana, AppDynamics, Logz.io, …) with demonstrable observability implementations. Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum and Jira tool) Good english level (C1) you will be working with international teams. Nice to have: Experience with process automation Working knowledge with support platform tools (ServiceNow, PagerDuty…) Experience with SLI/SLO metrics in critical systems. Ability to develop code (Java, Javascript and Python) Work location 100% remote within Spain. ⏰ Work schedule Business Hours. No intensive working days for friday or summer.
