Job description The position includes the following tasks: Within the project, you are responsible for supporting the Horizon Europe project consortium in the managing of financial reports and supporting the questions of consortium partners, preparing the final financial report of the ReIncluGen project (ends on 31/12/2025) to be submitted to the European Commission. You support the department in providing guidance on the financial reporting of Horizon Europe projects and calls. In your role, you take instructions and regulations into account with a view to achieving predefined objectives. Profile You have a bachelor degree or equivalent competences gained through prior work experience. You have knowledge of and experience with the monitoring and financial reporting of European-funded projects, preferably part of Horizon Europe. You are proficient in Microsoft 365. You have good oral and written knowledge of English (knowledge of Dutch, Spanish, Italian or German is an asset). You act with attention to quality, integrity, creativity and cooperation. You have strong monitoring skills. You are good in team work, and are culturally sensitive. Offer We offer a temporary contract for a period of 9 months (Start 15st of July 2025 – end 15th of March 2026). You will receive a gross monthly salary within pay band 5.1-7.1 of the pay scales of the Administrative and Technical Staff. Your entry-level grade depends on your relevant professional experience. If you work part time, your salary is calculated proportionally on the basis of your employment percentage. You will receive meal vouchers, ecocheques, Internet-connectivity allowance, group insurance, an income protection insurance, and a bicycle allowance or a full reimbursement of public transport costs for commuting. We offer flexible working hours. You will have 40 days of annual leave and collective leave for 1 week when the university is closed, between Christmas and New Year.
